Searching for the Light: From Strangers to Neighbors
3:00 pm Sunday 2 May 2027
Broadway Performance Hall, 1625 Broadway, Seattle, WA 98122

The Seattle Peace Chorus will feature John Muehleisen’s immigration cantata Borders with a chamber orchestra and children’s chorus. Borders weaves together stories and songs of immigrants past and present, along with poets Emma Lazarus, Alberto Rios, and Brian Bilston. The poets ask us to consider, “Who is my neighbor?”
